Negative Sentences / μ, -μ§ μλ€
Two main ways to create negative sentences in Korean:
Add μ before a verb(simple and colloquial)
Use the negative verb ending, -μ§ μλ€ (more formal, a little more to change)
κ°λ€ = to go
μ§μ κ°μ = I am going home.
μ§μ μ κ°μ = I am NOT going home.
λ²λ¦¬λ€ = to throw away
κ·Έκ±° λ²λ Έμ΄μ = I threw it away.
κ·Έκ±° μλ²λ Έμ΄μ = I did NOT throw it away.
-μ§ μλ€ = basic form
-μ§ μμμ = Present tense
-μ§ μμμ΄μ = Past tense
κ°λ€ = to go
κ°μ§ μλ€ = to NOT go
κ°μ§ μμμ = I DO NOT go.
κ°μ§ μμμ΄μ = I DID NOT go.
λ²λ¦¬λ€ = to throw away
λ²λ¦¬μ§ μλ€ = to not throw away
λ²λ¦¬μ§ μμμ = I DO NOT throw it away
